Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we provide our services and you use our website.
1. About us & these terms
These terms and conditions govern the cleaning services provided by Sparklerite Cleaning Services(“we”, “us”, “our”) and your use of this website. We operate across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the wider Dorset area. By booking our services or using our website you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if anything is unclear.
2. Our services
We provide domestic, Airbnb and holiday let, commercial, deep, and end of tenancy cleaning, along with laundry and linen services. The exact scope of work for your booking is the service we agree with you in your quote or booking confirmation. Any additional work outside that scope may be subject to a further quote.
3. Quotes & bookings
Quotes are provided free of charge and are based on the information you give us about your property and requirements. If the property differs significantly from what was described, we may need to revise the quote. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the service, date and price with you.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are as quoted and agreed. Guide prices shown on the website are indicative only and vary with the size and condition of the property and the service required. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion of the service using the method confirmed at booking. We may charge interest on overdue amounts at the statutory rate.
5. Cancellations & rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or where we are turned away on arrival, may be charged in full or in part to cover our costs. The specific terms for your booking are confirmed when you book.
6. Access to your property
You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property, along with running water and electricity. If you provide keys or access codes, we handle them securely. If we cannot gain access at the agreed time, a lock-out charge of up to the value of the booking may apply.
7. Your responsibilities
- Please tell us in advance about any fragile, high-value or sentimental items so we can take extra care or avoid them.
- We recommend securing cash, jewellery and valuables before a clean.
- Let us know about pets, hazards, or any areas you do not want us to clean.
- Please ensure the property is reasonably safe for our cleaners to work in.
8. Our service guarantee
We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of a clean, please tell us within 48 hours and we will return to put it right at no extra charge. Specific guarantees, such as our end of tenancy re-clean guarantee, are subject to their own terms confirmed at the time of booking.
9. Liability & insurance
We carry public liability insurance and our cleaners are DBS-checked. If you believe we have caused damage or loss, please report it to us within 48 hours so we can investigate and resolve it fairly. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the service in question. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under law.
10. Our team
We invest in recruiting, vetting and training our cleaners. If you book a cleaner introduced to you by us, you agree not to employ or engage them directly outside of our services for a period of six months after their last booking with us, without our written agreement.
11. Complaints
We want every client to be happy with our service. If something has gone wrong, please contact us at info@sparklerite.co.uk or on 0330 043 6939 and we will do our best to put it right.
12. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our services due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, illness, or other emergencies. If such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.
13. Your information
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the terms that apply to your booking are those in force at the time you book.
